For the 2022 X3 sDrive30i, output is approximately:
248 HORSEPOWER
258 LB-FT OF TORQUE
This engine is one of the reasons the X3 works so well as an everyday luxury SUV.
You get strong low-end torque from the turbocharger without needing a large-displacement engine.

REAR-WHEEL DRIVE CLASSIC BMW CHARACTER
This X3 is the sDrive30i, meaning it uses a rear-wheel-drive configuration.
For driving enthusiasts, that's worth pointing out.
BMW built its reputation around balanced chassis engineering and rear-wheel-drive dynamics.
Instead of simply pulling the vehicle from the front wheels, power is delivered to the rear wheels, helping preserve the traditional driving characteristics BMW is known for.
THIS IS A LUXURY SUV WITH SPORTS-SEDAN DNA.
For a customer who prioritizes driving feel over unnecessary AWD hardware, the sDrive30i can be a particularly appealing configuration.
